My quad is making a clunking noise lately. It seems to be coming from the front sprocket (coming out of the tranny behind the brake rotor). It happens when I try to take off fast. It only happens when the tires get good traction, not when they spin. The sprocket is a sunstar sprocket that is only about 1 year old. The chain is a DID X-ring that is also only about 1 year old so I don't think this is the problem. It almost seems like the sprocket is slipping on the splined shaft. Does anyone know what this is or have had this happen to them? Also how did you fix it?

Thanks
hughes
