The DG pipe on mine killed the top end. I have raised the needle up but it's still not where it was stock. The dealer installed it for free and said he re-jetted. Top speed is only about 45 now. Any suggestions? (besides buying a different pipe)

It will wheelie!See pics.

Hey Talon, SWWEEEEETTTT RIDES!!!!!

You folks that are pipe/silencer hunting, please do yourself a favor and stay away from DG (as far as Polaris goes). You are far better off going with HPD-inc.com, RCR, Hotseatperformance.com, or AAEN. These places do tons of Polaris stuff, and they do it well. Good Luck!

Ok!People have said to stay away from DG but i didnt listen.I have a friend that owns a motorcycle/atv shop and i got the pipe and silencer cheap through him.I figured that it has to be better than stock.WRONG!!!We put it on and i hit the throttle and I lost all my bottom and top end.DG said that we shouldnt have to rejet or clutch it.They didnt know S--T about anything. So it was all trial and error from here. Since he owns a shop i had access to any parts i needed.I finally figured out what works with DG. Now it rocks!!To start we started with different jets 140,150 ETC... Ended up with a 170-180 jet.Put in a K&N uni filter. Then i put in a red primary spring from EPI and 42T sprocket.I can now say it is fast. Great bottom end,Wheelies without pulling up on bars.I have been clocked at 62mph.I dont need to go much faster than that cuz i do most of my riding on the trails and hill climbing.Way better than stock!It runs smooth,plug is nice coco brown,The only thing that is with going bigger on the jetting is it goes through way more gas.It tears up the trails.

P.S. I did not bore it then.I just did the head job and piston about 2 weeks ago.I have not been clocked yet.But i do notice more on the top end.If it does anywhere over 65 I will be happy.I think it will.I guess thats pretty good on a TB without going with race mod or reed conversion.Speed kills just the same no matter how fast your going!!!

Talon, my dealer is saying the same. Let me tell you, if those silver units do show up a month before the TLD....The beast in the garage will probably be silver and not black....my state fair time probably included about an hour total, copping a squat on the Pred they had their. Girlfriend is REALLY understanding....and patient.
