I have griped and moaned on here several times about my 97 scrambler loosing reverse. I finally tore into it this past weekend. I couldn't believe what I saw. On the input shaft, betwwen the reverse gear and forward gear, there is a washer and a snap-ring. Well, they had wore away the shaft and had about a 1/2" or so of play. I had never seen anything like it. Has anyone else experienced this?
