FINALLY, got some pics

My boss at work decided to put up a picture of my 300Xpress. www.lcrracing.com
Mine is the blue one. The pictures aren't perfect but good enough to see. By the way, the 77 KM100 is a customers, not mine.
Let me know what you think.

Thanks, Bubba.
The camera really didn't do it justice. The frame is actually a mix of Yamaha frame silver and blue metallic flake. It's a 50/50 mix. You ought to see it when the light hits it just right. It goes from a plain grey to silver to almost a light blue metallic. I was also quite surprised just how that genIV plastic looked after a little shaving.
The best part of this machine is that it will dust a stock Scrambler. Atleast in drag race for about 1/4 mile. Fastest thing in our shop except for the Raptor and Banshee.

I LOVE it elroy
I wish I had time to start a project like that, but college is calling my name, and books arent cheap, it sucks, I get no financial help, this is so messed up, it's like it is easy for me to pay for school.
But enough with the tangent, I love it, I am jealous actually, how do you like the power out of the 300 2 stroke, especially after it is modified.
How does it preform, and did you mod the suspension any?

elroy,
Dang man, that's looking good! I see you've finally got the new plastic on it. I do hope that you put the output shaft bearing back on it. I'll send you guys a picture of mine. I put the HiPer Carbon fiber wheels on it, gave it a couple of runs around Martin Hill, Timberline, Marienville (both trails) and Six Mile Run Poker run and they still look like new. That is one tough set of wheels!

Polarisman3210,
Thanks! It is really quite a runner. The only mod I really have left that I can do is weld a reed cage in the motor. To which I will be doing shortly. I already have a couple of different reed cages to choose from but I need to do a little more homework before I start cutting my motor up. As for performance, you would be surprised. The front suspension is Works suspension. I went to the long travel setup which meant I had to move my upper strut mount to keep the geometry of the suspension right.
Mike Chero,
Howdy friend. Thanks! Yes, I did put the outshaft bearing on it. I wasn't going to since it didn't have one on it to begin with but, Ray wouldn't shut up about it. To keep him from whinning, I put it on. I figured it wouldn't hurt. You'll have to keep me up to date with your wheels. I keep toying with the idea of getting some since I'm running out of performance mods to do. Like I said the only thing I really have left to do for additional performance is welding on a reed cage and shave off as much weight as possible.
bmxatv10,
If their were anymore mods I could do, I could probably beat some modded Scramblers. Unfortunately its allready been modded about as far as it can go. All I can do now for more performance is weld on a reed cage and make it lighter than it allready is. I have allready taken the engine to its limits and beyond.
I must give a special thanks to someone who helped me alot. Thanks Rick Ritter. This machine wouldn't be what it is without you. You might not have actually done any work to it other than your pipe but you were always their to boot me in the a$$ when I wasn't sure. That's why your sticker is on it in the top spot. HPD helped me a little with my clutching so for that, I put their sticker below yours. Other than those two, its just our shop stickers and Polaris stickers. It would sure be a shame if those HPD stickers blew off in the high pressure wash. I might miss them, NOT!

How much did that plastic cost you. I have been wanting to change my 00 Trailboss plastic after I get my engine done this winter. Will it fit to my Tboss frame with little modification. I was going to get the Scrambler plastic but your Express looks sweet. Where would be the best place and price to get that plastic?

BLAZIN,
You're not going to like this but the plastic didn't cost me a single red penny. To make a long story short, the plastic on mine is actually some plastic that I had to warranty because it had a cloudy appearence to it. Polaris said replace it, so I kept the old warrantied plastic. Some quick work with a buffer and it was good as new. Sometimes I really like my job. I did price the same plastic for you, about $450. That does not include any decals. The Polaris accessories catalog shows yellow or silver kits for about $325 for the genIV like mine or $250 for the genIII like the Scrambler and Trailblazer. My mechanic put that yellow on his SC500. Looks pretty cool, for a four stroke. The plastic should all inter-change with little to no modification.
Mike Chero,
The boss put your quad in our pictures. He was a little curious as to why you offered. I reminded him that you bought a few things from us and that it was a pretty fast SC400. He says it looks stock outside of the wheels and few bolt ons. He asked if I've rode it to know. Needless to say, it's there.

elroy,
Yeah, you could say mine is pretty far from stock. Crap, I just remembered, I forgot to let you ride it. I was going to let you ride it this summer when we got together, but things kept getting in the way. I don't know when I'll be up to camp next, but it could be next Wednesday/Thursday. I'll let you know.
