New Kawi 700 sports quad
#1
what do you guys think? i don't think it will do that well. the scrambler is not much heavier and you have 4 wheel drive. I don't think polaris really sells alot of scramblers. I own a scrambler and I love it, but I don't think Kawi is not really breaking any new ground.

That artical scared me at first glance. I thought the Predator was dethroned before it was even on the trail. I see now that the Predator still has no competetion. A 500+ pound automatic quad is far from the same class. It will be a great beginner/intermediate sport machine. You are right though, I think the Scrambler has it beat with the four wheel drive. I see Scramblers quite a bit on the trail, the sales can't be too far from the Sportmans compared to other Polaris quads.

I think that thing is ugly as hell. The front looks like its smushed in. Why in the hell did they make it shaft drive? I don't see why anyone would buy it. Its too heavy and doesn't have the features (Shaft drive, auto, etc) to be a sport and it doesn't have 4X4 to be a sport/utility and it sure as hell isn't a utility so it has no place.

Hey, I might be interested in it. I do like the Predator, but where I ride I need the auto tranny. Still, it won't even be in the same class as the Predator, Z-400, 400EX, Raptor, DS650 (well, maybe the weight) or the Cannondale. Looks like a nice machine, though. It comes in Orange, so I might not have to get new riding gear. I'd be interested to see how well it does in the GNCC Utility Stock and Modified classes.
