Don't think they are cheaper, but www.gorilla-axle.com has ones that are 100% guaranteed for life. I think the one for my Xplorer was $49, which included shipping, grease, and both clamps.
If you have the boot off, you can go to an auto parts store, and see if they can match up one off a car. Then you are talking under $20 if you can find one that fits.

Dennis Kirk.

They have 2 different units.
EPI (ERLANDPERFORMANCE) $28.99----I have seen this refered to as a SPLIT BOOT. My experience with split boots on the automotive side is that they are JUNK.
Moose Utility: $25.95---- These are the once I bought for mine, they are a bit thicker and stiffer than the OE equipment, I have had no problems with them.

Thanks for all the suggestions. I went with the Gorilla Axle boot. I figured this time I don't even have to be careful and if it rips, I'll just get a new one for free. Two OEM boots from the dealer would be $70 plus tax, and this one will be good forever for $50. I just hope my CV joint isn't messed up.
