I have a 2000 Xplorer 250, And i am going to get some 25 inch Dunlop tires off a buddies 2000 Kawasaki Prairie, they are the rear ones he is getting some Wolley boogers. Ok I have 23 front and 24 rear, should i got 24 or 25 in the front? His 300 turns 25 inch front and back , so i am assuming that my 250 two stroke, will turn them too. I would like to go with 25 all the way around, would like the added groud clearance. Any reason i would have to keep the inch difference?

You should be alright. My sportsman has the same size tires as the Xplorer, and the 2000 models(Sportsman 335) have 24" all around. I asked my dealer about it and he said that there were no gearing changes made for the 2000 and that the drive train is the same as the 500, which uses 25" at all corners. He also said that with the taller front tires, the front end would engage a little sooner since the front hubs will be turning slower.
