The local ATV club put the event on private ground. They had two tracks. One was the "dry" track. Short, with lots of hairpin turns, logs to jump, and a pile of tires to drive over. Thought no Scrambler won on this track, times were close. Considering they were up against 250R's, Raptors, and 400EX's they did well. No Z400 were to be found.

The second track was a "wet" one. Very large and quite wet. Two big water holes and mud at every turn. Riders had to go around 10 barrels to make it to the end. If you hit one and it fell over, you had to put it back up while the stopwatch kept running. It was divided between two and four cylces, not how many wheels were spinning.

In the two-cylce class, a 02 Scrambler 400 4X4 X won and a 2WD Scrambler got 2nd, beating 400EX's with paddle and Supper Swamper tires. In the four-cycle class, a 00 Scrambler 500 4X4 (stock) took the win. The utility classes were about 75% Polaris, so you know who won there too.

Anyway....it was a good time. More events like this should be held and will be as ATVing is becoming more popular and places to ride seem to be getting smaller.
