You could try to fit a piece of the material
that the Outerwears shock or filter covers
are made of over the end of the snorkel.

JUST A THOUGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just tried my new 2000 Scrambler400 yesterday for the first time. It's amazing. We went riding on some really nasty trails with a lot of running water...the trails are in the process of being washed out. I crossed a stream and the water went up to the headlights in front! No water entered.

I have seen on these forums that some guys have taken 2" or 2 1/2" pvc and snorkeled up about a few inches and then elbowed it back about another 2". Some say it works great. Keeps water from splashing in. Just watch out to keep the air intake pretty open to prevent any problems. I am planning on doing it myself.
