425 Magnum Speed
#13
ya thanks that helps alot. Now i can try to help you if your wondering how good they are they have great power good, top speed, they can keep up well with a 500HO and they are very good for mud running. As far as reliabilty goes my friend has only had to replace the rear chain and sprockets and a belt, as of 1997 thats pretty good.

I love my 425 but the chains are a pian in the butt till you learn some shortcuts.A clutch kit, filter and exhaust system are a must. And if you get a used one that old you will more than likely need brakes and tierod ends.As for the motor all I have done in 5 yrs is replace the water pump seal and adjust the valves.I have rebuilt the tranny and one of the front huds(my fault for not changing the fluid)
