They are pretty prudent on the spark arrestor Issue. If they have to question it at all they will tell

you to go buy one.

I would take along a spark arrested unit even if it is a little louder.

Like I said before, I ran a FMF turbine core 2.

They never even put there stick in it.

Does kinda raise and eyebrow when it beats a 63hp machine. Even if the machine is heavier. Sounds to me like they are not showing off stock machines. Good marketing strategy, I guess. But, it sure may come back to bite them if they haven't been stock. Gonna be real interesting to see this thing perform.

I hope they show up at the Ironman this weekend. I plan on going Saturday, just to watch. Maybe Sun., too.

That is what AAEN says there stage four kit meets (63HP). My bike is a lot heavier. For one it is a 4x4. Also I am NOT big on removing things (Starter, Running boards, Battery etc. etc.) to save weight. You figure I am pulling at least 135 lbs just in the weight of the machine compared to a raptor, preditor, z400 etc etc.

I am sure a modded 4x2 sport/scrambler machine would do a lot better in a drag.

I have learned weight is a HUGE factor.
I am around 85lbs more than my buddy ScramblerX
He and I lined up (99 400 4x4 vs 2002 500X 4x2)
With each of us on our own bikes we were about dead nuts. Really dependent on who got the wholeshot.
With X on my 400 and Me on his 500, the 400 would pull away the hole time start to finish in a large margine.

I agree weight makes huge differenct. But, the Predator will prob. have what? 38-40hp, tops? I still think a 63hp machine would be able to eat it up. Just my opinion, I could be wrong.

Predator HP is 52 at the crank and 45 RWHP. So with the extra weight of the Scram, I can see the Predator winning. The 63HP of the Scram I believe is at the crank.

I am sure you are correct GE.
AAEN probably gives that rating at the crank (so the number is bigger for the YAHOOS that want to spend the $$$$$$).

Yeah, ok, I can see that. I didn't know that Predator was that high. I can't wait for this thing to come out in full force. With 45hp it has more than Moto. It'll be ineteresting if the actual production machines has that much hp. If so, that's impressive!

You won't ever be able to believe it because you can't see anything anyway. Like trees, large drop off's and when your about to eat it.
