what???? 58mph??? no way belive me my cousin a 325 and it couldn't keep up with my old arctic cat 300 4x4(toped out at maybe 47 on a good day). i have a 500 4x4 scrambler now and i can get 60-65 with that.
So i don't see how there would only be a difference of 2-7 mph with a difference of 170cc.
And they haven't changed that much in the engine i don't think they only went up what 4cc its not goning to make that much difference.

I have a '02 trailboss and it goes 48 mph (GPS proven) with an average sized rider on it.
Polaris claims the '03s have 10% more horsepower then the '02s so they might squeak out a couple more MPH.
50-55 MPH isn't unbelieveable but it would take a long straight stretch of road to get there.

I have hit 55-56 mph on my Trailboss, on blacktop pavement. My wife was following behind me in our Jeep Cherokee sport , pacing around 55 mph.
My friend clocked me with a radar gun doing 56 mph down Main st just last year, winter time but there was no snow. I weigh about 200 lbs and about 6 ft tall.
A lot of people on here do not believe me when I say it went that fast, but it does take a little while on flat ground to reach it, but not a long time. The Aaen exhaust sounds good going down the road at that speed.

hey iszdan i can see 48 but do really think that you could get 58 out of a stock trail boss?? i don't think so With the right mods, yes but stock....
so you guys are saying that a stock trail boss is only around 10mph slower than a stock 500 scrambler???? come on it just doesn't make sense.
And on tar it might go faster i know mine feels like it goes faster
but how many of you guys say your goin out for a ride then just ride up and down the tar road????

I use to have a 99 trailboss and i know it topped out at 53mph on a good day. They say that the 330 tops out at 55mph.I have rode one and either way without clutching they are both slow!I did not notice much power increase between the 2, But they both ride really good and handling is good also. Its not a sport quad and it does have potential. They do have alot of torque and a clutch kit makes a huge difference on these as far as take off.

My friends '01 clutched (green spring)/jetted 325 Trailboss tops out around 48. MAYBE, 50 on a real long, flat, very smooth surface. My Lakota hit 57-58 and just destoys his Trailboss. He bought a Raptor because we would leave him so far behind. He just couldn't take it anymore.
