Default Modified SP700 owners - Please help

I have a SP700. I am running a Dyno-jet with the 144 and 2 turns out on the pilot. I also have a K&N. I have a AAEN pipe, but it seemed to take away from performance so I removed it.

I want to know whta is working. What carb is best? If I try this carb, does it require mods to my air box intake? What clutch kit is best? I do not want anything too agressive that would make technical rock crawling difficult. Do I even need a clutch kit if I get the motor running right?

The way my bike is now I am about a lenght behind a 650 at 100 yards. I read tha some of you guys are easily smoking stock 650s.

Anyway, if someone has come up with a combo tha works, please post the results and what you have done. Please be specific as to jet, needle height, and pilot setting. Also, disclose your altitude so I can adjust accordingly if I go with your set up.

Thanks for the help.

Greg

I AM RUNNING THE HOT SEAT TUNED HEADER AND PIPE, K&N FILTER AND HOT SEAT AIR BOX COLD AIR KIT.
AAEN SPRING AND WEIGHTS IN THE PRIMARY CLUTCH, COMPLETE ROLLER SECONDARY OUT OF A SCRAMBLER BUILT BY AAEN PERFORMANCE. 42/38 ROLLER HELIX. I AM TRYING TO GET A MIKUNI TMX 38 CARB SOLD BY AAEN TO WORK ON IT RIGHT NOW, HAVING TROUBLE WITH THE LOW END BOOGING OFF IDLE. EVERYBODY I TALKED TO IS HAVING SAME PROBLEM, WOULD NOT RECOMMENT THIS CARB AT THIS TIME, I TALKED TO THE GUYS AT HOT SEAT AND THEY ARE COMING OUT WITH A CARB WITH A PUMP TO CORRECT THE LOW END BOGS. THE STOCK CARB REALLY LIMITS ANY UPGRADES ON THE 700, BUT THEY WILL HELP SOME, EVEN WITH THE BOGGING PROBLEM WITH THE TMX 38, AFTER YOU GET TO THE MID RANGE AND TOP END IT PULLS LIKE CRAZY, 650'S DISSAPPEAR QUICKLY.

TRUE, BUT I HAVE TO SEE IT TO BELEIVE IT. I KNOW WHAT YOU HAVE, YOU HAVE NO IDEA WHAT I GOT.THATS WHAT MAKES THIS SPORT FUN, YOU NEVER KNOW TILL YOU RACE THEM. AND THAT NITROUS, WILL IT RUN OR WILL IT POP. YOU JUST NEVER KNOW WHAT IT'S GOING TO DO. FORCED INDUCTION, THERE WHEN YOU NEED IT. SOUNDS LIKE WE BOTH HAVE MORE MONEY THAN SENSE.

It's hard to see, but if you look at my icon., on the front racks, there is about 10 trophy's from one event, where we competed this summer with modified bikes like yours and others.

I didn't ever say that I could beat your bike, but I know alot of 700's that I can beat.

Polaris is a good bike, I've had several.

My point was there is always someone who might be faster. I should listen to my own words, you probably are faster than I am. Good luck, guess I'll have to turn the bottle heater on and turn up the bottle.

Have a good day. Keep modding, once you start there is no stopping.
