#1
I am in the process of mounting a winch t my 2000 Xpedition, and in the instructions it mentioned that I should wire the toggle switch to the terminal board. I looked alll over the machine and do not see a "terminal board" can anyone help with the locating of this?????

I put a winch on my explorer and I hooked the wire from the solinode to a hot wire when I key is on. I never found the trrminal board on mine so I just didn't use the toggle swictch and it works fine. Try the brake light wire the one that is hot when I key is turned on.

I mounted mine with out toggle switch.just splice into the wires going to the rear brake.Turn on your key and find the hot one with a test light. This way when your quad is running your winch will always be ready to work.

Polaris has done away with the terminal board on
newer machines. It was nice while it was here but
they must have had too many problems with corrosion in some areas. They did put spare connectors in one year but the next year they were gone. So now I have done like the other posts have
and spliced into the brake switch wire. If Polaris
is looking at this please put spare connectors back into the harness for accessories.

Thanks guys, I wish somebody would notify WARN of the lack of a terminal board. I do appreciate the help, it has saved me a lot of time headaches, and probably beer.
