on my 4x4 xplorer 300 there is a really bad squeeking up front, i keep it pretty well greesed and everything, i think my breaks r about gone, they jerk and dont stop too well, is this the pads?? and is this why its squeeking?

 

You'll have to give us a little more info.
When does is squeak?
Are you turning? Accelerating, braking?
Suspension being compressed or extended?
As for your brakes check the condition of your rotor, remove your brake pads and check how much is left on them if any.

 

Sounds like you need brake pads.
