speed kit

Default speed kit

i have a 500 scram. 4x4 was looking at the speed kit on hot seat
was wondering if anybody has this on there bike, if so is it worth
the money?

I have the speed kit on my sportsman 700.the atv runs really great.My only problem is evertime I ride the silencer comes apart.(screws fall out causing the packing to come out.)I have contacted hot seat but get no reply about the problem!!!

Have you by chance tried Re-Assembleing the silencer and puting LOCKTITE on the screws?
If you really dont want it to come apart get the Red Locktite, but then good luck getting the screws back out when it is time to repack.
Blue Locktite 242 should do the job for you. Hope this helps

BUBBAHYDE.......I TRIED BOTH KINDS OF LOCKTITE AND THE SCREWS CAME OUT.A FRIEND TOLD ME LOCKTITE NOW MAKES A HEAT RESISANT PRODUCT.AM GOING TO GIVE THAT A TRY.I AM RUNNING MY STOCK SILENCER ON THE TUNED HEADER AT THIS TIME. (WE EVEN TRIED RIVETS AND THEY ONLY LASTED ABOUT 40 MILES)[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-disgusted.gif[/img]
