Best Aggressive Tire

Hi,

What is a good aggressive tire for the 2001+ Sportsman 500? I need a good tire for mud that doesn't weight 40lbs and is priced at a value. Also whats the largest tire size that can be used.

ITP/Titan 589s or the Goodyear Mudrunner would be excellent choices. All weigh under the 40LB mark.

I just put on 26" Mud Bugs on Magnum wheels and they are lite but aggressive. The fronts weigh 29lbs and the rears weigh 32lbs each. In fact, I put bigger tires on my 700 and lost weight. The Bugs in total weigh 12lbs less then my stock tires. Didn't feel any power loss at all.
