Default Carburetor problems

We are having carburetor problems on a Polaris 425 magnum liquid 4 stroke. The problem being that it is flooding I think. If you put a new plug in it, it fires right up and runs good. However, if you let it sit for a few hours or overnight the thing won't start and the plug is covered in gas. I'm thinking that it is the needle and seat not seating correctly. Is that right?? If anybody has any ideas I need to get it back running. Also does anybody have a breakdown of the carb, or know where I can get one? Thanks.

More than likely its the needle and seat. Take the float bowl off and inspect it. Could either be damaged or dirty and not seating right. While you are there check the float height - if it's set too high you can have problems too.

THe needle and seat wear out bad on these. When you take your carb off that is a good time to set the valves(i bet that is your probblem)And for a parts diagram go here http://www.partsland.com/
