OK I have checked the Valves and they are good I did as you said. I am still have the same problem. It sounds and smells like the Bike is loading up on fuel and firing on every other stroke when I give i a lot of Gas. If I give it a small amout of gas then slowly add throttle to it, it runs ok but as soon as I let off it will backfire and then I am in the same situation. anyone else have any suggestions?
Thanks

My guess is going to be either CDI box or the coil breaking down after it gets good and warmed up. Looks like everything else has been covered. If it was the carb, it would do it all the time. You know the 4-strokes have a pulse style fuel pump usually mounted up front. On one side of the pump there is a breather hole (looks like a brass mesh screen about half the size of a penny). Other than checking that and making sure it's clear, I would have to stick to electrical in my opinion. These kind of situations get really hard to diagnose sometimes. Hope any of this helps,Bubba

Did you try pushing the override switch in when it started bogging and backfiring? Maybe when in neutral, and it starts doing that, push the switch in and see if it revs up fine. It may be a CDI box, but it sounds more like a fuel problem. Maybe your float is sticking a little? Did you try changing the fuel filter?
