dusty brought up a good point, i forgot about the way the grips feel. they don't have the cusion of factory grips and they are smoother too. i'm not crazy about that but i think the trade off is worth it. cold hands are no fun! hey kevlar, if you're coming to the marquette area to ride, go just a little south about 25 miles to Gwinn. the access to trails is easier. i think they only have 1 motel in town but you could stay in marquette, lots of motels there. you can also get maps locally. if you want to you can let me know when you're in the area and i'll go riding with you. yoopermike
