Well the other day I was out playing in the snow on my sp700 man I was having a blast flying though the woods when I hit a small tree stump just about 6in high but this thing through me off the right side I hit the gound hard on my right side as I lay there waiting for the bike to come over on me.thank god It didnt I rolled over and the bike was just sitting there runing and waiting on me to get back on.Im only 35 years old but the next day I felt like I was beat with a ball bat on my back and right hip.You young guys running around on these race bikes have fun now.youll be old befor you know it...The bad part is my buddy saw the hole thing Ive about had it with wipe out jokes...

Bill35, I've been in your position before, pretty much same situation you described. I was cruisin down the trail on my sportsman 500ho goin around a corner when I hit a tree LOG layin in the tall grass right next to the trail. It wouldn't have been that bad but I had my handlebars turned all the way to the right so when I hit the log I was thrust into the end of my hadlebars resulting in a broken rib. I'm all healed up now and ready to break more bones as soon as my TL Predator gets here MONDAY MORNIN.

Hello all. I am new to the forum. I read your Im to old topic and I had to put in my 2 cents. I just turned fifty last sunday. My present was a Predator, which I will paying for, for the next few years. I took it to the local sand dunes for a four hour ride and it about killed my upper arms , at one point I had a hard time opening a couple of my fingers. but over all it was a great time. This atv runs great ,and I have ridden most of the sport models. now if I can keep my kids off it. I did run it in for the recalll and the petcock was leaking bad, hope to get it back monday. I have owened it 11 days now. So far I have changed the front sprocket to a 13 and removed the warning stickers. I have paddles coming.

I am 43 and I have always kept in good physical condition and I still play and work hard but I have to admit that after a hard day of riding it hurts. I have made a couple of bad jumps at the dunes this year and dang I just don’t heal as fast as I use to. I have always thought those guys that wore all the protective gear were just following the “As long as I look good” motto but I give; I am getting a full set of protective gear. I am opposed to wearing all the labels that seems to be in stile so it is a challenge to find gear that doesn’t make look like a want-a-be factory rider. My job requires that I make physical qualifications every six months so at this point I just cant afford to get hurt but I also refuse to five up riding or even be overly conservative

You can't look hurt when your kids are watching you! Unless a body part is out of place.

The next morning get up before them and stretch so you don't look gimpy.

My dad said it would be like this....
I turn 36 in a few weeks and spent Saturday night riding in the snow with my Pred, man was I hurtin' !!
Get in the truck and decided while backing up that I was too tired to push the button to roll down the tinted window so I could see where I was going and backed straight into a tree! I ordered my new bumper from Jegs last night
($365.00) and this morning my neck is killing me. That $365 was going to be my remote reservoirs. I have got to stop cussin' the way people drive.....
