Default Grease Fitting

When greasing the front steering shaft are there only one fitting that supplies grease to the top and bottom of the shaft? My book sorta makes it sound like theres a top and bottom grease fitting but I can't find the bottom one.

Thanks

It depends on what year and model your quad is.

Default Grease Fitting

The 2001 HO has only one grease fitting on the steering column and is located under the headlight pod. The earlier model had a second grease fitting at the bottom but they have since changed the lower steering bushing from a greased plastic to a sealed bearing.
