Need advice on 700 twin for property upkeep
#11
Thanks guys! I will make a decision on the blade this week. I had a feeling the 48" wasnt wide enough for the 700, but the guys at the dealership acted like it was the only way to go? Oh, and whats a county blade?
My 700 will spend most of its time pushing around a 60" finish mower this summer. I figured if I had to mow grass, why not do it in style?! Plus it will be more fun!

Chawness,
Moose makes the County blade. it's 16" on the left side and 26" on the right. it looks like a large highway plow. it's designed to 'throw' the snow up and off to the right.
did you get the front 60" finish mower yet? does polaris offer the front bracket attachment? i didn't think it was available for the 700. just offered on the Sp400/500 models.

mtpockets (LOL, I just got it)
I did get the 60" front mower, but it wont be in until January. The dealer didnt say anything about the bracket not being available. Maybe thats why it wont be here sooner? Im going to call them today about the blade, I'll mention it to them.

I was getting a bit of a run around trying to get the 60" blade, so I just decided to keep the 48". From what most of you have said, even the 60" isn't big enough, so I will probably end up adding 12" to both ends of my 48. I'm an avid welder, so after looking the blade over it shouldn't be to hard.
