Does anyone know what color OHV sticker will be given to the Predators in California?

Well that is what the dealer told me so take it for what it's worth. But, being that it's a 4 stroke, I don't see them making it a red sticker.

 

I guess there could be some truth to that. Pretty much all the hot 4 stroke bikes, ie. YZF 426's etc are getting red stickers, that's why I'm so curious... thanks for the help

 

Do a search on "Green Sticker". There is a way to tell via the VIN of the machine. It's the eighth digit, and if it is either a 3 or a B (I think), it either gets or does not get a Green Sticker. I forget which way it goes though. I don't have my VIN handy or I could tell you.

I think it's that if it is a 3 or B, it DOES NOT get a green sticker. I think...

Thanks for the technical approach. I've heard of this, but wasn't sure on all the details. Will do some looking into. Right now, I don't have the quad yet, and I don't know anyone in CA that does for that matter. Need a Predator VIN from CA to do some investigation.

I am SO glad I don't live in that communist state anymore. I just picked up the little $20 purple 2003 stickers for my machines in the off chance I venture behind the new Iron Curtain...
