Default Sand Tires For The Predator

I don't understand how an SS2 can be one of the fastest when it's so heavy.
If you want the fastest tire for pure speed an ultra lite hauler in 22+" would do then job.

V-cut paddle I prefer a SS1 (not SS2) comp cut. Only downfall is the price, over $100 each due to the labor involved. It's lite, last longer than a skat trak Edge and turns/slides great while still hooking up when needed.

I've been running a set of comp cut Desert Mini's. They hook up almost as good out of the hole as a hauler but turn A LOT better. Comp cutting cuts the weight in half taking the tire from 4 ply to 3 ply. They have the least amount of rolling resistance (basically toss less roost up, contact Mark harms from Sand Tires Unlimited for more info) than most other tires. Here is a before and after picture. Most people will not consider them due to the way they look. Best all around dune tire IMO. These are $150 each

Only person that I know that cuts them is:

Wouldn't a 22" rear tire hurt gearing? I'm starting to think if I'm gonna go to 4-Stroke Wars, I oughta get a set of the fastest drag tires possible...
