Default Oil question for Scrambler

Has anyone ever used the Honda Hp2 synthetic racing oil in their Scrambler? I think i am going to try it. Normally you would premix it but I am going to just stick it in the resevoir in my scrambler and use it that way. Has anyone done this?

Default Oil question for Scrambler

We had an earlier discussion about the synthetic oils mixing with the non, so that's not a problem. I do know that some companies such as the maixima oils specify theirs for injection or premix. If it is rated for injection use, go for it. If not I would call Honda and see if they say it's ok since it's their oil. Just wandering why you would switch to that when the Polaris gold is excellent . Bubba

Default Oil question for Scrambler

The reason for the switch is because the Polaris oil is very expensive and I work for an oil company that doesn't sell Polaris but, they do sell Honda and I can get it very cheap. I hope it will work. I am most likely going to use all Honda and or Mobil products for the oil and grease for my ride. I do use the Gold right now but at 30 some dollars a gallon its hard to refuse the money savings if the Honda will work.
