Default Ok to run 4wd all the time?

This might sound dumb but is it ok to run my 03 600 with the 4wd drive switch on all the time? Once I thought it was on and found out I forgot when I was up to the fenders in mud. My k1500 has an auto button that can be on all the time and only kicks in when slippage occurs. I'm assuming the SP is the same.

Thanks
John

I have done just that since my 1st Polaris in 94. Never had a problem. Merry Xmass

You can run it in 4WD all the time withou harming the machine. Do not do it when you are horsing around doing do nuts because the front wheels will engage when the rears spin and you will be thrown off.

Thanks for the advice. I'll be this would help me stop tossing mud on the rider behind me as well. Seems like the 600 likes to spin those back tires easy.
