Hot Seat clutches are OK but stay away from their pipes. They are junk. Go with a supertrapp IDS II. Best bang for your buck.

You aren't going to gain all that much with a pipe on the 500 as I was told. If it was me I'd just get a clutch kit from HPD unless you like to bring out the sound of a 4 stroke, I do. My cousins boyfriend has a Scrambler 500 with a HPD pipe and clutch kit. He installed them on at the same time so it's hard to tell what you gained from either but it was a lot faster. During hunting season he took his pipe off and swapped it with stock pipe and left the clutch kit on, he said their is hardly a difference without the performance pipe it's mostly all in the clutch. Good Luck

FRom ny experiance with the pipe and clutch kit the pipe brought the most out.I had the clutchkit first and then put on the pipe and it made a huge differance. On the clutch springs go with one of the top brands they are all good I personaly like Aaen because they have been around for ever.
