I just bought my wife a new Trailblazer 250. I think its the perfect quad for her, she is new and they seem like a easy bike to learn. My question is how do I know for certain that the oil injector is working? I'm still on the first tank of gas (pre mix to be safe) I keep checking the oil res. and it doesn't seem to be moving,but I know they don't use a lot of oil and it might not be noticable. I talked to a guy who said he only fills his oil up every 200 miles,is this right?

Welcome to ATV Connection. You got the perfect quad for your wife.I had the same concern when I bought my 400 scram.I would keep checking my oil and it never seemed to move.I finally checked the clear line that feeds the carb and it put my mind at ease,I could see oil in it.After a couple tanks of gas you will notice the oil level slightly lower,but it really doesn't use much at all.I will have used one full gallon of oil this year.Hope this helps.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

 

Even with all the mods on my TB i only go through 1 tank of oil to every 30 or so tanks of gas. It uses very,very little oil. It mixes 40 to 1. Thats like 40 tanks of gas to every 1 tank of oil or 2 qts.
