I've had that problem soo many times on my Trail Boss I fixed it so many times the threads pulled out of the tank I finally had to buy a new tank. Just last night I get a call from sombody that has a Sportsman he said it's leaking gas around the valve. It's a common Polaris problem.

Had mine fixed twice while under warranty. The first time he just used some teflon. The second time he put new lines on it. He said the gas had swelled the ends of the lines so much that they wouldn't seal. I haven't had a problem since..........Knock knock (on wood)
