Default Swing arm- replacement?

This weekend my swing arm brokenone side in half back by the rear hub. Does anyone know the following:1. Any other models/brands and year will fit my 95' Xplorer 400, 2. Would a 2" extended swing arm be worth the extra money- trail riding and flattrack racing, 3. Would you think if i had mine welded and extra supports added - would it last or make you nervous. Thanks for the input.

Hot Seat sells a chromolly swingarm, and I think Aaen modifies your existing unit. Check their websites.

I think if you have a reliable welder near by you should have no problems with it.I've been running a welded swingarm for over a year with no problems.Hope this helps.

I have a brand new one I would sell you for $50 plus shipping. It came off of a 6x6.........was never used. If it doesn't fit, I'll refund your $50. Let me know.

I have a welded swing arm on my scrambler 400, I think its stronger now than from factory. Holding up real well.
