Default 250 Rings

I'm re-ringing my Trail Boss 250 and the rings seem too big what should the gap be on them. Thanks

Keep the end gap around .015. You can file them slightly if needed, just be sure to keep it as square as possible. Bubba

They are now 0.014 I was comparing to my old ones and they had a lot smaller gap. Thanks

Just got my new rings in and my copression is exactally 120PSI does that sound good?

I think that's good. You will probably find that once you run it a little bit and seat them it will get better.

I'm taking my time re-building this time. Usually I'm in a hurry and end up getting pissed and tools everywhere can't find a part etc.. I'm sure you know what I mean. I haven't fired it up yet I'm waiting on jets I want it to last a long time and not fire it up with my current 35 pilot I'm replacing it with a 45.

I'm not sure with the stock cast piston, but with a wiseco, you need at least 0.012 clearance for the ring gap.
