Munzzzzzz, I was thinking about building an "L" shaped plate to fit inside the bumper compartment and also attach it to the brush guard and then bolt the winch to it and weld a bracket on front for the roller fairlead. If you could send me a picture of yours I would appreciate it.

Spruce,

If I want to pull myself forward, I just put the winch on the front of my bike. Thas whats so great about a multi-mount. I can put the winch eather for or aft on the bike.

I don't have a pic handy but I found this one on Polaris' website. It shows the winch and brushguard on a camo SP. This is exactly what mine looks like, other than the fact that I have a silver & black 700. If you want any other pics (different angles or more up close), let me know and I can get them to you on Saturday. My ATV is currently at the shop getting a water pump cover replacement. Forgot to mention... you don't have to build any special bracket or anything to mount it like this, everything you need is included.

I just did the same thing you were thinking about, except that I made it into a reciever hitch. Got a new Warn 3.0ci, 3000lb. winch to mount in it. Built the front reciever tonight, and will finish it this week in the evenings. Looks like it will work great!
