Tire Size Upgrade
cant tell ya about the magnum but my sportsman has 27 inch vampires on it and last weekend i got seriously stuck one side of the wheeler was sunk in the silt about half the wheeler was buried I was trying to turn the wheels in low with the throttle while being pulled by 2 wheelers i heard a snap and the tires on the unstuck side started spinning but the buried ones werent after a long battle (4 hours) I got it out and guess what broken front output shaft(187$) broken bushing(25$) broken rear cv joint($?) I know for a fact that had I had the stock tires they would have given and spun in vain but they would have spun none the less and kept parts from breaking Long story short avoid oversize tires the manufacturers use that size for a reason The parts in the drivetrain are designed for only so much torque I learned the hard way

Tire Size Upgrade
Hey thats the reason when I put tires on my Sportsman I went with the stock size but a little more aggresive tire and I still stip rear hubs everynow and then.As for 25s on a 325 they are under powered to begen with the bigger tires will just rob what little power you do have.

Thanks Gents I had the feeling that the response would be as you have said, numerous times I have heard of axle breakage due to this type of upgrade without changing to higher quality axles and bearings, I can't justify that for my machine.
