A friend of mine just bought an '03 black/silver sp700 for $5545 in Wisconsin.

 

How can the dealer sell for $5500 when thier invoice is $6500?

I called thoose two dealers above RIDERVILLE CYCLE IN BERKLEY SPRINGS - $6700 WINCHESTER MOTOR SPORTS - $7200

 

Those $5500 prices sound almost too good to be true. You certainly can't buy one that cheap in Texas, Arkansas or Louisiana. I found one dealer that had some new 02 700's for $6700, but all the dealers I checked were at or above $7000 for a non-mossy oak 03 700. In my case, I would have paid a little more just to buy at a dealer that is 2 miles from where I live, but as it turned out the local dealer had the best price anyway.

That makes me feel a little better, I was beginning to think the dealers around here are really sticking it to us. Did that $6500 price include sales tax?

 

Mine didn't.

 

Picked up my 03 Mossy Oak SP700 from Moose Lake Implement in MN. $7100 out the door. Of course that didn't cover .065% MN tax or or license fee. Also came with a 1 year warranty. Just up the road you get to pay .075 tax to the the state and the city of Duluth.
