I bought this Sportsman 500 used from my Polaris dealer back in August with very low miles. Is it true if the atv hasn't been through the saftey course yet that it is free to the owner? Or any other information on the subject would be great. THANKS

Yep, I believe that is true. I think they check by using the VIN #. Also I don't know if this works on used machines or not, but through Bombardier when you buy a new ATV and take the course for free, they send you a $100 check!!
