IM thinking of removing my stock rear skid plate for the winter...acts too much like a paddle and hangs me up..im thinking with all the snow down, the chain and brake would just cut though the snow...how much extra clearence would it give me if i removed it?? about an inch?

My cousin on his banshee has it removed and has had no problems..jsut for the winter with alot of snow..our trails are only so wide so we get ruts..then you get the BIG hump in the middle...this is the problem!
