Ouch - Beefy... so... what happened to that compression check you did?

Have you considered having some of this forum's online suppliers help you get the machine back together... maybe even for le$$ buck$?

I love to ride but on my own I'm probably not the world's greatest mech. I'm really not sure what happen with the compression check that I did. The gauge belong to someone else and they did say it might not be accurate :-( . I know the dealer is sticking it to me but I would rather pay for the peice of mind that come with the receipt, If it comes apart they will fix it. At least that's what they said. Is that worth the 250 in labor, maybe, maybe not. See you guys in the woods.

Over $300 in labor? Have you tried calling around to check different prices?

I agree Beefy, sometimes the warranty and not having to mess with it anymore is worth the extra dough. If it grenaded after a bunch of friends did it they would just stare and say "wow, that sucks Beefy"

I dont know any shop that will waranty a topend job esspecially on a 2 stroke because most people wont break it in.And even if you do break it in right the shop will say it is your fault that it didnt last and charge you the same again. But if that makes you feel better go for it.Bu tif I were you I would invest in a repair manual too just to be safe.
