Are Primary Clutches Interchangeable????
#2
It will bolt up to the motor, buuuuuut, it will not work because they are physically bigger than the ATV units. Not only will it not fit inside the cover, if you put one on and tried to go at full throttle long enough, it would try to shift out so far something would break like the belt. So you need to stick with the ATV clutches. The good thing is that you can use any non-ebs clutch, just change the weights and spring.Bubba

Thanks Bubba, I've got what looks like a stress crack on the backside of my drive clutch "the side nearest the motor. I thought maybe I could interchange the clutch and use the weights and spring I have now. Thanks for clearing that up.

clean it up real good and look at it very carefully. Cast aluminum like that tends to get spots on it that look like cracks, but are part of the casting process. Hopefully it's not. I have 2 clutches on e-bay right now and they already have bids on them. Keep an eye out on them if you need one.Bubba
