having a lil trouble with a battery on a sp 500 not holding a charge. anybody have any ideas on what it might be?????maybe a bad ground or something?????

 

How old is the battery? The battery could be bad. You need to hook an ammeter into the battery cable to see if it is drawing current. You could also hook a 12 volt light bulb in series with the battery cable. If it lights you are drawing current.
