Unfortunely the tach for the 400 stroke wont work on the 500 4 stroke. I wish it would that way I could go to Autozone and pick up a Sunpro tach[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

 

the one i had fit the 500 .

 

How much was it? Was it an analogue or digital?

 

analog ,If I recall it was about $100.00 with instructions of course.Call rick ritter,that is where I got that one.

 

can anyone tell me how to hook up a polaris 6 pulse tach off of a sled on a 2001 500 scrambler,it has one plug 3 wires one of each red-brown-yellow also the red and brown go to the bulbs,then the brown and yellow go into the tach itself. Thanks, Dewayne
