why has my thumb trottle became a little stiff to push--in a days time of riding .my thumbs ready to fall off..anyone got suggestions on how to remedy this......is there a twist trottle avalable out there??? thanks for your help

If you pressure wash your machine it gets water in the throttle cable and it loses lubrication. spray some wd 40 down the cable it should help

i had that same problem with my blaster, a stiff throttle. if you ride in a lot of mud and water there's prbably quite a bit of that in you cable causing it to be stiff, my solution if you don't want to go to a twist is just replace you throttle cable, and clean out the throttle housing, good luck

 

I know there are some weird sites on the internet, but this is the first time I have heard of a little mud and water giving somebody a "stiff throttle". If thats all it takes I wouldnt recomend wearing jogging pants in public! hehe

 

There is an excellent throttle lubricating device on the market that solves the problem of throttle lubrication easily. It's worth it if you have several uses for it.
