Default Walker Evans Shocks

I puchased front and rear WE Shocks for my Predator and they are awesome!! They are as good as any other shocks I've seen. Very Good Quality. The only thing is I had a problem with the rear shock being to stiff. I weigh about 145 pounds and ride mainly on motocross tracks, so I got ahold of Randy at Walker Evans and he told me to take the rear springs off my FOX Shock and put them on my WE Shock. He also said that if I still thought it needed to be a little still softer he would revalve the shock for free. I swapped the springs and it helped a bunch. I'm going to wait till I can get some track time before I send it to him to be revalved. By the way the fronts work great... way better than the Fox's!! Just thought Some of you might be interested in this info.

are they pretty good for bigger jumps? i am going to the dunes next month for the first time and i want to be prepared, i am a bigger guy too, over 250 lbs. can they handle that or should i stay with stockers,
also how is the installation, did you do it yourself or did you have someone do it? and how much did it cost for installation, just for the labor

Ruckus, sounds like the WE people have some great customer service. Have you ridden a rezzi equiped Predator for comparison. I've had such great luck with the rezzi's that switching would be hard. Always open for suggestions though. What are your thoughts?

The guys at Heinen's up in Osseo. Matt, the lead tech also races a Predator. You can also ship them up to Carver performance in Thief River Falls. You won't believe the difference.

Modquad,
I haven't ridden one with the fox rezzies yet. So I don't know how they compare to the WE's. Have you seen the WE's in person? They have 5/8" shafts with dual springs on the front with rezzies and the rear has a 3/4" shaft with dual springs and rezzies. They are first rate shocks. I was at the track last weekend jumping 50ft+ tabletops and doubles and never had them bottom out a single time, yet it has a really plush feel. BTW I have my rezzies set on 4 all the way around, and am running NO preload on the rear shock. You also gain another inch of travel in the front with the WE Shocks.

I know the great WE reputation from sleds and trucks, I know it's first rate. Would love to give them a rip.
