Decision Time!!! Grizzly or Sportsman 600
ARMY-"Help me out!! I know I'll be happy with either."
if this is the case, it's down to a few simple things:
-price(BEST DEAL? BIGGEST DISCOUNT?)
-honest dealer with a good reputation?
-consistant, good service dept?
-parts discounts for customers who buy their ATV there?
-what type of riding are you gonna do? if you're a mudder.......than factor in tires on the Grizzly price.
-color?......the BLUE sure looks sweet! LOL
later,
GOOD LUCK!

Decision Time!!! Grizzly or Sportsman 600
Army,
Last spring I had narrowed my choice down to the Sportsman 500 or Grizzly. They both have a lot of the same features: great suspension, miles of ground clearance, plenty of power, automatic, great handling, and real 4x4 at the flick of a switch. The biggest differences were price and weight, the Yamaha was expensive while the Polaris was overweight. I chose the SP500 HO, my buddy bought a Grizzly. I ride my Polaris almost daily, and its a very good package for work or play. However, after riding both machines I must say that the Yamaha is much more refined, smoother motor and controls (especially the tranny), and the weight difference alone is worth the money. Our machines are almost dead even in a drag race so a SP 600 should be quicker than a grizzly if that's important. In the really nasty muskeg they again are even. As a former certified Polaris mechanic I'm sorry to admit that the Japanese machines are better overall quality. Ride them both, pick the one you like.
