Default New ATV SPORT shootout

Idontknow,

It was a 1997 and it had about $10,000 worth of mods on it. Everything from a trail ported motor, to a 39mm Kehin carb, to Works struts and rear shock to Hi Per carbon fiber wheels. It was nice, but a maintenance nightmare.

Aw c'mon, it was a labor of love (oooh so cheesy) The Predator has been boring..hehe, ride it, park it, ride it, park it. But Oooh sooo fun during the ride it part!! [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img] Mike I'm staring at the motor and trans laying on the floor from the Sport.....gotta freshen things up for the summer....sigh, what did I say about labor of love?

That's easy for you to say. You have the Concentric drive model. I had the one that had the output shaft grease zerk. That was by far the hardest zerk to reach. It's not like I didn't enjoy getting my hands dirty, but I had to do it after each serious ride and it was starting to become a pain in the youknowwhat. I still have Celeste's to work on to remind me how "good" I had it.

I know that the machine never required a bearing change (at least the bearings with zerks on them), but I wanted to try the maintence free route for once.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]
