Default Is there an advantage to a single brake lever???

i like the single lever brake... the only thing is that i don't try steep hill, if i'm not sure i can make it to the top, anymore.

i once almost flip back 'cause i couldn't make it to the top, i would like to have front brakes only.

when i touched the brake lever and the front started to lift... i left the brake lever and i went downhill backward at a speed that was way to fast for me ( and everybody probably ).

i scared the **** outta me !!!!!!

no more hard packed hill for me if i'm not sure i'll make it..... in the sand it's no big deal cause the wheels slip anyways...
