I was driving my 700 last night and an "E" came up where my H/L/R indicator usually is. I tried shifting between gears and it didn't matter it stayed on. This morning, it was gone and everything looked normal. This also happened last weekend. Thanks for any help.

 

I had this happen to me and it about drove me crazy until I found out it was a ground problem. My problem was in the wiring under the front hood where I hooked into the switched reverse light connection.

 

You know that is kind of funny, because I have a reverse light also and I was wondering if that was the problem. I am going to disconnect it and see what happens. It also comes and goes when I am driving.
