Default Urethane Motor Mounts

I have been looking for a good hard motor mounts for my 400 sprort. The HPD and Hot Seat mounts don't seem to be much better than the stock ones. Does any body have any suggestions on what to do for mounts to keep the vibrations down with out going to solid ones. Thanks Kevin

Torque strap. I found when I added it the vibrations really cut down alot. Other than building a set of polyurethane or maybe out of a hockey puck, that's about the only rubber like material harder than 80 durometer

Bubba, how does it fit on the 99 sports? I've seen how it fits on the 98(on ebay) but the frame is not in the same place on the 99 and up. Kevin

Sportkc,I believe the concentric models need an additional plate. If you read the add good i think it talks about an additional plate for newer models.Later.

My brother has one on his 99 sport. Its two seperate pieces. One bolts
directly to the pull starter housing. It has a adjustable screw with a rubber
cover over the end. The other piece mounts to the frame in two places.
That rubber ended screw butts against this new brace!

Talonhawk and CED are right. It just needs another piece to make work. They are real easy to install.Bubba

I tried the HPD mounts also and they did not work at all but i got so 90+ durometer mount that go on a 600 polaris snowmobile. i used the rear type mounts( like what was stock). i also put two in the rear and added a brace. i have no problem with engine torque at all now. I liked this setup better than mounting a torque plate.
later
