Sorry there Geoff, but we were all pretty much amazed at your post about how you couldn't get your predator to wheelie. Most of us can't criticize each other for what we do, because we've all done it at one point or another. How long did it take to get your AIRFORCE kit? Install time? Hope it goes nicely w/ my trinity pipe. Would like to hear if anybody has gotten one yet.

Well I do not know a whole lot about this Airforce kit I do have my airbox modded on my Scrammy and what I did for the holes is take and prefilter a water proof one and cut it up the size of the hole and hot glued it over the hole this works well no water will get in if it only submerged for a few seconds but if submerged for a longer period it will start to come in , because the prefilter can only keep it out for a brief bit even though they say it is waterproof

Unfortuately, those who are against atv's would see someone driving down the road and and twist it in some way to try to bring up another regulation. If we want to stay regulation free, we must ride responsably. A few can ruin it for the rest of us. Although, I do think that aussiequadrider was a little bit harsh. We've all done things that havn't exactly been bright. Attacking somebody personally isn't a good way to get a point across.
Now on aussies behalf.
All of us should take some responsability and remind others that their actions could have repercussions on others. ( But not by making personal attacks )

sorry to hurt your feelings stryder. Ge-off just needs to decide if he wants to ride or be a tree hugger. he can't be both!

I guess you missed stryders point.
Now you can bash a Raptor rider instead of your own.

Stryder - I also bought the Air Force kit. I didn't know about the hole in the top so I am having second thoughts about putting it in. I called Gary when I received it, he said it needed the second hole to work properly....
Anyway, let us know how yours does without the hole in the top.

well, it runs a lot better and can hang with a piped raptor (CT racing). But my personall believe and that of my cousins is that we're misng a horsepower or 2 by not having the whole in the top.
I'm going to put the hole in, but I'm going to use the old stock foam prefilter along with the foam that was sent in the box.
If you were really worried about water getting in then I'd put an outerwear (cut to match ) between the foam and the aluminum ring.

One thing I should note is that ever since I put in the air force kit, it starts up, in the cold weather, a lot easier.
The popping issue isn't a problem anymore either
My pipe is set up to the specs that gary gave me
all disks in place with the core and without the back plate
