Been up to the racks many times and no belt slippage and none on the Polaris that ride with me, I have personally never seen belt slippage.
Hey Y2kPolaris i am in Caribou, Maine and the riding is awesome here, literally thousands of loggind roads and trails to choose from.

This isn't about Polaris ATV's but my friend...He borrowed his Uncles Grizzly and made it through water up to the handle bars. he had a snorkle for the air filter and exaughst extention pipe('cause his uncle always puts it under deep water)
I know some of you may not beleive this but it happened.

The belt thing has never been a problem except for flipping my quad upside down and submerging it under water. I go through deep water all the time...just do NOT kill the engine while in deep water!

I crossed a the Picanoc River here in Quebec, Canada with my 2000 Magnum 325 4x4. The water was right up to the gas cap, and I made it all the way across, without any belt slippage or engine troubles. We DID have fun laughing at my buddy's Grizzly as it spit and sputtered to a stop in the middle of the river. Finally, we had to get my other buddy's Big Boss 6x6 to tow the Grizzly and a couple of Honda 3-wheelers across. Great FUN!!!

ATV_Man your quds doesn't suck. If it gets you out on the trails that is all that matters.

re: mudmachines pictures...

This one reminds of a waterhole I was in near Moab last year .. Pritchert Canyon I think. Maybe it wasn't this deep, but it sure seemed like it! Nearly swamped two other quads with my wake!

AWSOME! I would like see more detailed photos & description of the snorkels.

The only time my belt has slipped was when I hit a stream crossing too fast and splashed water into the vent tube... been surprised at how deep you can go if you don't splash it in.

I made it through a swamp once.
The next was a beach , and it took in some water.

Had to tipp it on it's butt-end and it spit the h2o back out, a few oil changes. But still runs great.
Some one send me some pictures, Love to see them!!
